Caring for your table runner is easy. The cotton makes it durable and long-lasting, a textile that withstands repeated washing. For an extra refined look, shape it slightly right after washing.
All Ekelund textiles are made from 100% organic raw materials and are sustainably produced at our mill in Horred, Sweden. They are also GOTS-certified and approved by the Swedish royal court – something we are proud of.
About the pattern
“The inspiration for the Blomsterfest pattern comes from Swedish gardens and three classic favourites that bloom in June – peonies, columbines and bleeding hearts. The large, full blooms of the peonies meet the elegant shapes of the columbines and the small hearts of the bleeding hearts. In between, leaves, tiny flowers and butterflies weave their way through the design, adding life and movement.
I particularly love how the colours turned out in the finished woven design. Some unexpected combinations emerged, giving the motif a freer and more playful interpretation. That is precisely what I think gives the pattern its personality – the familiar meeting the unexpected.
For me, Blomsterfest is about that wonderful feeling when June is at its most beautiful and the garden feels like one great celebration of flowers. A pattern filled with colour, imagination and blooming joy – just like early summer itself.”

WASHING ADVICE
Machine wash at 60°C. Wash with similar colors. Tablecloths containing linen should NOT be tumble dried. Shake out the tablecloth thoroughly after washing and hang it up to dry. For best results, lightly iron the tablecloth while it is slightly damp, in the lengthwise direction. Tip! For even better results, shape the tablecloth after shaking it out before hanging it. All our products are delivered with an allowance for shrinkage.
