A towel from Ekelund is always a good idea. Our range includes patterns and styles to suit all interior designs and rooms, whether you want to use them in the bathroom, kitchen, or as a placemat on the table.
Our textiles are easy to care for. After washing, simply shake out the towel and hang it to dry, allowing you to reuse it time and time again while maintaining its high quality.
All our textiles are made from 100% organic raw materials and sustainably produced at our mill in Horred, Sweden. They are GOTS-certified and also approved by the Swedish royal court – a recognition we are very proud of.

About the pattern
“My pattern was inspired by a trip to the Swedish town of Fjällbacka and the views of Smögen Bridge (Smögenbryggan). The small, colorful boathouses blend beautifully with the landscape. When creating this piece, I wanted to capture the feeling of the sea breeze, the calls of seagulls, and the harmony between people and nature.” - Daiva Zubriene
WASHING ADVICE
Machine wash at 60°C. Wash with similar colors and avoid using fabric softener. Towels should not be tumble dried. Shake the towel thoroughly after washing and hang it up to dry. For best results, lightly iron the towel while it is slightly damp, in the lengthwise direction. For even better results, shape the towel immediately after shaking it out. All our products are delivered with an allowance for shrinkage.
The stated dimensions are approximate and represent the size the product will have after washing.

100% PRODUCTION IN SWEDEN
We have chosen to keep our production and weaving mill in Horred, Sweden. This allows us to maintain full control over the entire manufacturing process, reduce transport emissions, and tailor production to avoid overproduction.
