A towel from Ekelund is always a good idea. Our range includes patterns and styles to suit all interior designs and rooms, whether you want to use them in the bathroom, kitchen, or as a placemat on the table.
Our textiles are easy to care for. After washing, simply shake out the towel and hang it to dry, allowing you to reuse it time and time again while maintaining its high quality.
All our textiles are made from 100% organic raw materials and sustainably produced at our mill in Horred, Sweden. They are GOTS-certified and also approved by the Swedish royal court – a recognition we are very proud of.
About the pattern
“Höstskörd is inspired by autumn’s abundant gardens and the richness of nature. As the air turns crisper, the days grow shorter and nature begins to change colour, our homes take on a warmer and cosier feel. Rowan berries, figs, rose hips and Chinese lanterns come together in a lush design where fruits, berries and leaves all take centre stage.
The pattern draws inspiration from classic decorative botanical motifs, with the different elements winding and growing together to form a harmonious whole. The Chinese lanterns add colour and character, while rowan berries, rose hips and leaves create small details to discover. Warm shades of orange and red combined with varying tones of green evoke the rich colours of autumn and work beautifully on both tablecloths and towels as the season makes its way into the home.”

WASHING ADVICE
Machine wash at 60°C. Wash with similar colors and avoid using fabric softener. Towels should not be tumble dried. Shake the towel thoroughly after washing and hang it up to dry. For best results, lightly iron the towel while it is slightly damp, in the lengthwise direction. For even better results, shape the towel immediately after shaking it out. All our products are delivered with an allowance for shrinkage.

We have chosen to keep our production and weaving mill in Horred, Sweden. This allows us to maintain full control over the entire manufacturing process, reduce transport emissions, and tailor production to avoid overproduction.
