Caring for your table runner is easy. The cotton makes it durable and long-lasting, a textile that withstands repeated washing. For an extra refined look, shape it slightly right after washing.
All Ekelund textiles are made from 100% organic raw materials and are sustainably produced at our mill in Horred, Sweden. They are also GOTS-certified and approved by the Swedish royal court – something we are proud of.
About the pattern
“When I created this design, my aim was to capture the spirit of Christmas while giving it an expression that still feels at home once the festivities are over and December turns into January – when the Christmas decorations have been put away, but winter is still very much here. That is why I chose to let evergreen botanicals take centre stage rather than traditional Christmas decorations.
The pattern is composed of winding branches of lingonberry, holly, mistletoe and Christmas rose. The red berries bring colour and life to the evergreen foliage, while the pale mistletoe berries and deep pink flowers of the Christmas rose create contrast and depth. Repeating botanical trails give the pattern a classic expression, with plenty of small details to discover. The red bows are a subtle nod to Christmas and add to the festive feeling.
For me, the pattern is about the warmth we create indoors during the darkest months of the year – candlelight, a beautifully set table and the beauty of nature’s details. A pattern to enjoy at Christmas, but just as fitting throughout the entire winter.”

WASHING ADVICE
Machine wash at 60°C. Wash with similar colors. Tablecloths containing linen should NOT be tumble dried. Shake out the tablecloth thoroughly after washing and hang it up to dry. For best results, lightly iron the tablecloth while it is slightly damp, in the lengthwise direction. Tip! For even better results, shape the tablecloth after shaking it out before hanging it. All our products are delivered with an allowance for shrinkage.
