Carina Backman was born and raised in the beautiful Swedish town of Gällivare. Carina describes herself as a lifestyle artist, and is a person who has explored various forms of creative expression throughout her life.

Carina's journey in the creative world has been multifaceted. She has engaged in various forms of visual art, designed home textiles, run an interior design shop, and for the past 13 years, she has had the pleasure of being a restaurateur. It's a journey that has shaped Carina, endowing her with a broad understanding of various facets of creativity and design.

Recently, Carina has had the amazing privilege of becoming a grandmother, and it has opened up a whole new dimension of inspiration in her life. Carina finds joy and creativity in the small moments in everyday life and is inspired by the simple, but precious moments with her grandson.
