Welcome to Ekelund Linen Weavery - Sweden's oldest weavery since 1692. Here you will find a wide range of our current collections as well as a large factory sale of outgoing products.

Right next to the shop is our own exhibition and museum. Are you curious about how our textiles are made? You are warmly welcome to a free tour of our weavery, with times available further down on the page.

Sunday: 11-15

The café closes 30 minutes before the shop.

Closed for Summer Holidays!
From 15th to 28th July, the weaving mill will be closed for summer holidays, which means we will not offer any weaving tours during this period. The shop, café, and museum will be open as usual. The weaving mill will reopen for tours on Monday, 29th July.

Please note that there are no weaving tours on weekends and public holidays.

Weaving Tour

The weaving tour is a cherished experience. Here, you can follow the entire process from yarn to finished fabrics. You walk around the factory at your own pace, and we, who work in production, are your guides. Feel free to ask questions about the various aspects of the art of weaving in a modern weaving mill.

Opening hours: Mon - Thu 11 am - 3 pm & Fri 11 am - 12:30 pm.
More than 15 people - please send a pre-registration.

In our café, you can indulge in a proper coffee break. Here you will find cookies, buns, simple meals, and other goodies, both homemade and from local bakeries. Enjoy a delightful pause in our cozy café corner. Perfect for a relaxing time with friends and family.

Bus Tours and Larger Groups

If you are a larger, curious group wanting to glimpse into the world of weaving, you are warmly welcome to us. At Ekelund, we offer lectures with inspiring details about our work here in the textile region. The lecture is followed by a weaving tour starting at our oldest Jacquard loom from the 1850s and then moving on to Swedish textile production today.

Before or after the tour, enjoy homemade treats in our café and, of course, take a tour in our large store. Here you will find both beloved classics and a large outlet section.
