TERMS AND CONDITION
1. ABOUT THE TERMS OF PURCHASE
1.1 These Terms of Purchase (“Terms of Purchase”) apply to all purchases you make from www.ekelunds.com (“Website”). You accept the Terms of Purchase in connection with making a purchase on the Website.
1.2 The agreement is concluded with Ekelund, Linneväveriet i Horred AB, corporate registration number 556313–2231 and address Varbergsvägen 442, 51930 Horred, Sweden (“Ekelunds”, “us” or “we”). Our VAT number is SE556313223101.

2. ORDERS
2.1 To make a purchase from us, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the right to enter into contracts under applicable law.
2.2 If you make a purchase on the Website as a representative of a company, you accept the Terms of Purchase on behalf of the company and warrant that you have the authority to accept these Terms of Purchase and to make purchases on behalf of the company.
3. ORDER AND DELIVERY CONFIRMATION
3.1 Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an automatic order confirmation via email, confirming that we have received your order and that a binding contract has been formed.
4. PRICES AND INFORMATION
4.1 When ordering, the prices stated on the Website at the time of ordering apply. All prices include applicable VAT. Prices do not include any payment and shipping charges, which are stated separately.
4.2 If the price or information about a product stated on the Website is incorrect and you were aware or should have been aware of this at the time of placing your order, the price or information will not apply to your purchase. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible after we discover the error.
5. PAYMENT
5.1 We have the following options: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We also have Klarna as a payment option where you can choose to pay directly, by invoice or use installments. Any costs for the different payment options at Klarna can be found on Klarna's website.
5.2 When you make a purchase from us, you will enter into a separate payment agreement with Klarna. You can find information about Klarna's terms and conditions for their various payment options here. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with Klarna's data protection information.
6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery options
6.1 In Sweden we use POSTNORD and outside Sweden we offer UPS as delivery option.
Shipping cost
6.2 Unless otherwise stated in connection with your purchase, shipping is free to agents if you purchase for over 799 kronor. If you purchase for less than 799 kronor, a shipping fee will be added. The amount of the shipping fee is always stated in connection with your purchase.
Delivery time
6.3 The expected delivery time is always stated in connection with your purchase and depends on whether the product is in stock or whether it is manufactured after you have completed your purchase. If your order contains multiple products, some of which are not in stock, we will ship your entire order when all products have been manufactured.
Unclaimed packages
6.4 You are responsible for receiving or collecting your delivery in accordance with the instructions you receive in connection with your order. Packages from a postal agent that are not collected within 7 days, as stated on the avin, will be sent back to our warehouse. In these cases, we have the right to charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK, which corresponds to our costs for handling and shipping in cases where you do not collect your package from the postal agent.
7. OFFERS, DISCOUNT CODES, AND GIFTS
7.1 We may from time to time offer promotions, discount codes, gifts and other offers (“Offers”). Such Offers are only valid for the period specified in connection with such Offer and on the terms and conditions specified in connection with the Offer. Offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless expressly stated.
7.2 You will need to enter any code or otherwise activate the relevant Offer before completing your purchase in order to take advantage of the Offer. If you return ordered products, this may mean that you no longer meet the terms and conditions of the Offer, which may mean that you need to return any gift or that you need to pay for the value of the gift. In such cases, we will contact you.
7.3 In addition, these Terms of Purchase also apply to purchases of products covered by our Offers.
8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
8.1 You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day on which you, or a person on your behalf, receives the product that you have purchased on the Website.
Depreciation
8.2 If you cancel a purchase of a product that you have used more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function, we are entitled to make a deduction for diminished value before making your refund. Such deduction is made by comparing the value of the product upon return with the original value at the time of purchase.
How to cancel your purchase
8.3 If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must notify us within 14 days from the day on which you, or a person on your behalf, receives or collects your order. You can easily complete your return by using the return form included in the package. You can also contact our customer service by emailing ecom@ekelunds.se or by calling 0320 - 20 90 00. You can also use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard form for exercising the right of withdrawal, which you can find here.
8.4 If you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase, you must return the product within 14 days. We recommend that you return the product in the same packaging in which you received it, as you are responsible for any damage or loss during return shipping, if the damage or loss is caused by your negligence, for example when packaging the product.
Return shipping
8.5 You will be responsible for the return shipping fee of SEK 55 when you cancel your purchase. The cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Refund
8.6 Once you have returned your purchase, we will issue your refund through our payment service provider within 14 days of the date on which you notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. However, we will not issue the refund until we have received the product back or you have shown that you have sent it to us.
8.7 Refunds will be made to you using the same payment method you chose at the time of purchase, unless we agree otherwise.
9. COMPLAINT
9.1 If there is a defect in your product, you have the right to complain about the defective product in accordance with the mandatory consumer protection legislation that applies in the country where you have your usual place of residence. In Sweden, you have the right to complain about original defects in the product that arise within three years from the delivery of the product (the liability period). You always need to complain within a reasonable time from when you should have noticed the defect. Your right to complain expires no later than two months after the liability period of three years has passed.
9.2 If you wish to make a complaint about a product, we recommend that you contact our customer service by calling 0046 320 - 20 90 00 or emailing ecom@ekelunds.se. You can also send the faulty product directly to Ekelund, Linneväveriet i Horred AB. Varbergsvägen 442, 519 30 Horred, Sweden.
9.3 Once the claimed product has been received and we have determined that the claim is valid, we will reimburse you in accordance with applicable law.
10. OUR OBLIGATIONS
10.1 If there is any defect with your product or if the delivery is delayed, we are responsible for any damages you incur as a result of the defect or delay, in accordance with mandatory consumer protection legislation. However, we are only liable for damages to the extent that you have taken reasonable steps to limit your loss. We are not responsible for damages that could have been avoided by taking reasonable actions.
10.2 We are not liable for damages caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as war, strike, pandemic, or natural disasters, which we could not reasonably have predicted (Force Majeure). If we are prevented from fulfilling our obligations under the agreement or these Terms and Conditions, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement in accordance with mandatory consumer rights legislation.
11. ABOUT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
11.1 We have the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, but the version of the Terms and Conditions you accepted at the time of your purchase will always apply to that specific purchase. All changes will be reflected in the latest published version of the Terms and Conditions on the Website. Changes will take effect once you have accepted the Terms and Conditions, i.e., when you make a new purchase on the Website.
11.2 These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Swedish law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by any competent court, authority, or alternative dispute resolution body, the remaining parts of the provision and all other provisions of these Terms and Conditions will remain valid and enforceable in full accordance with applicable law. You always have the right to the mandatory consumer rights that apply in the country where you have your usual place of residence. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted as limiting such rights.
12. SPECIAL TERMS FOR BUSINESSES
For customers purchasing on the Website in a business capacity, we do not offer a right of withdrawal. We are also not liable for indirect losses or lost profits. Furthermore, our liability under these Terms and Conditions for any loss or damage is limited to an amount corresponding to the total amount the customer, in their capacity as a business, has paid to Ekelunds for the product related to or arising from the loss or damage.
13. QUESTIONS, COMPLAINTS, OR DISPUTES
13.1 You are welcome to contact us if you have any questions or complaints regarding your order. You can easily reach us through the contact details provided at the beginning of these Terms and Conditions.
13.2 In the event of a dispute with private individuals, we follow the decisions of alternative dispute resolution bodies. To access the alternative dispute resolution body in your country, click here. In Sweden, you can contact the General Complaints Board (ARN), www.ARN.se. You can contact ARN by sending a letter to Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm.
13.3 As a private individual, you also have the option to file a complaint via the EU’s online dispute resolution platform, which can be found here.
13.4 Notwithstanding the above, any disputes may also be resolved by any competent court in the country where the customer has their domicile.
