At Ekelund, we’ve had the privilege of working with Betty Svensson for many years.

Betty studied at the University of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg and has a preference for painting everything by hand using watercolor and gouache. This process breathes life into the patterns we weave at Ekelund.

Nature's beauty and complexity have always fascinated Betty, serving as her greatest source of inspiration. For her, seeing the final textiles come to life—from sketches on paper to beautiful fabrics that enrich people's lives—is an incredible reward.
