Marita’s passion for creativity was sparked early in life, and she devoted herself to drawing and painting from a young age. She has always been fascinated by the world of textiles, with weaving being the technique that captivated her most. She pursued her education at Väfskolan in Borås, where she deepened her dedication to her craft.

Marita draws much of her inspiration from tradition, craftsmanship, and historical designs. She finds beauty in simple yet timeless patterns, striving to preserve their essence while creating new, enduring designs for future generations.
