Since 1972, Nils-Erik has primarily worked with oil and watercolor, though he has also explored art forms such as etching and photography.

At Ekelund, Nils-Erik is best known for the stunning cityscapes that adorn our towels. In 2009, he began his project of painting motifs from Swedish cities. In each cityscape, he strives to capture the soul and character of the city. His works are therefore a delightful mix of reality, imagination, old memories, humor, and meticulous details.
