Kristina Petrauskiene

Kristina Petrauskiene is a Lithuanian textile designer and engineer with over 15 years of experience. Kristina was born and raised in Lithuania, a country renowned for its stunning natural beauty. She was educated at Kaunas College and Vilnius Art Academy.

It is not surprising that her motifs include plants and flowers. Kristina often takes photos during her long nature walks in her home area, which then give her inspiration for new designs. She draws these design patterns by hand in her studio. Hand-weaving and spinning are Kristina's most cherished hobbies, making her collaboration with Ekelund all the more intriguing given our status as Sweden's oldest weaving mill.
