Towels

A towel from us at Ekelund stands for quality and sustainability. Our towels are woven in our climate-smart factory in Horred, located in the middle of the Swedish textile district, Viskadalen. Here our family has been weaving textiles since 1692, which makes us Sweden's oldest weaving mill. In our wide range you will find everything from solid to colorful woven towels in different patterns with 100% organic cotton & flax and environmentally certified materials.

Swedish woven towels

Sweden has a long tradition in weaving and we at Ekelunds still hold on to this tradition. All our towels are woven by our skilled and knowledgeable craftsmen in Horred. We believe in sustainability and therefore all materials in our towels are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard, also shortened GOTS. This gives you as a consumer a credible assurance of sustainability and the environment.

Design and collaborations

Every year we launch several exciting collaborations with well-known creators and popular brands, such as Moomin, Pettson and Findus and Marius of Norway. Here, our weaving tradition and playfulness play a big role in launching new collections and collaborations reflect.
