Born in 1933 in Denmark, Hanne Vedel has an impressive career spanning several decades. Her timeless designs are appreciated worldwide, and despite her age, Hanne continues to weave and design with unwavering passion.

Hanne’s love for craftsmanship is as strong today as when she began in 1957. Her designs blend form, color, and function, reflecting her goal of creating textiles that enhance the spaces where we live our lives.

Throughout her career, Hanne has designed upholstery fabrics for Hans J. Wegner’s Papa Bear chair, wall hangings, and countless patterns for us at Ekelund.
