How much does it cost to create a Private Label product?
Pricing depends on the type of product, the complexity of the design, and the level of customization required (such as labels, packaging, or unique weaving patterns).
We offer both adaptations of existing designs and full custom development. Once we know more about your needs, we will provide a clear and tailored quote. There is no cost or commitment at the initial inquiry stage.
I have an idea – but no finished design
The price is quoted individually based on your request and our price list. Additional costs may apply for extra proofing rounds or weave samples.
Can I create a full collection under my brand?
Yes, absolutely. With our Private Label service, you can develop an entire product range – fully under your own brand. That means the products are woven without Ekelund labels, logos, or packaging, and instead feature your own identity throughout.
Whether you want to launch a cohesive collection or gradually build your assortment over time, we are here to support you with design, production, and consistent quality – all crafted in Sweden using GOTS-certified materials.
What material is used – and is it sustainable?
Yes. All products are woven from 100% certified organic materials – organic cotton or a cotton/linen blend – and the entire production is GOTS-certified. This is a natural part of our custom orders.
Are there any limitations I should be aware of?
Yes, a few aspects to consider:
• We weave with up to six colors, which means the design must be adapted to a limited color palette.
• The materials are best suited for clear contrasts and shapes. Fine lines, gradients, or photo-like details may need to be interpreted differently.
• We weave – we do not print. This means that some color transitions cannot be reproduced exactly. On the other hand, you receive a tactile and durable result.
What’s the delivery time?
Standard delivery is 5–8 weeks after approved design and sample weave.
Can I have my own label on the product?
Yes. For an additional cost, we can add your own label, hanger, care label, or special packaging. We offer both printed and textile options.
Will reorders cost extra?
No, repeat orders are more cost-efficient. If you have already developed a design with us, there is no need to pay for a new setup or design fee. You only pay for the production itself, based on quantity and product type. This makes it easy and cost-effective to reorder bestsellers or expand your collection over time.
